This was a test band meant to try out new loom. An experiment with variegated yarn can be considered successful: the pattern seems to have more spirit, but was incredibly difficult to take good photos of.
Size: width 3,5 — 3,8 cm, woven length 91 cm, full length 107 cm.
Materials: single colour warp and weft – 100% wool, variegated yarn – wool-acrylic mix.
Technique: threaded-in/kivrim asymmetric variation, 18 tablets.
Creation dates: 23 – 28 September 2009.
