Historical pattern library

Sharing a wonderful resource: Antique Pattern Library has over 200 old books on handicraft.

The books have been scanned and made available in PDF format. The oldest edition dates back to 1844, while the newest ones were published in the 1930s. The copyrights for these books have already expired, so the scans are available completely free of charge. Most of the books are dedicated to specific types of handicrafts: various forms of embroidery, crochet and knitting, braiding, and more. Other books present thematic patterns and designs that can be used across different kinds of crafts. In short, there is a great deal of fascinating material.
