Narrow diagonals: the other side
Nearly 30 centimetres woven, and I’ve just given up trying to get a half-decent photo of the reverse side without taking the belt off the loom. So I reverted to using GTT. The top image shows the main pattern as it is on the loom; the lower one displays the corresponding section of the reverse side.


I really love the effect. Interestingly, on the front side, it’s not the main motifs – the diamond shapes with rays – that catch my eye the most, but rather the transitions between them.
I’ve added one of the plaited patterns from the most recent double-sided belt to the pattern collection.
