Simple … and slow

As already several mittens have decided to abandon our older daughter, a solution was needed to keep the remaining mittens with us. Didn’t even think about getting manufactured bands. 😀 Threaded 8 tablets real quick and … they just sat on the loom for a week. Yesterday finally managed to finish the first band out of three planned.

Using acrylic for the first time over the years was definitely easier because of the loom and longer experience, but still – by far not my favourite fiber. Sadly, found no wool of the colours we wanted.

Next on the loom will be the light cotton thread.
