Nearly 30 centimetres woven, and I\u2019ve just given up trying to get a half-decent photo of the reverse side without taking the belt off the loom. So I reverted to using GTT. The top image shows the main pattern as it is on the loom; the lower one displays the corresponding section of the reverse side. <\/p>\n\n\n

I really love the effect. Interestingly, on the front side, it\u2019s not the main motifs – the diamond shapes with rays – that catch my eye the most, but rather the transitions between them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve added one of the plaited patterns from the most recent double-sided belt to the pattern collection<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
