Once the braid is sewn onto the mittens, only the tiniest bit will remain &#8211; meaning at least another 6 metres will go to waste.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Weft thread usage: 6 metres, with a little to spare.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prep time (cutting the threads, threading the tablets, and warping the loom): 20 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Weaving speed averages at 8 cm per 10 minutes &#8211; that\u2019s pure weaving time, not counting technical manipulations like dealing with the twist.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>So, if you\u2019re not stopping for tea or other distractions, you can weave a band like this in roughly 3 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>P.S.
